Lots of the underlying code is being rewritten or updated. Galleries will have a much nicer interface and better presentation. Added the blurb about being in GMR 2005 to the title page. Added Guest Map (this is a trial service and may not be kept). Updated the members page and group photo. Calendar updated. Pictures from our last 3 shows will be added to the gallery. If you signed up for receive a notification of when the site has been updated, don't worry as that notification will come when all of this is completed. Lots of work to do and so little time to do it.

October 17, 2003
We had our biggest display the past weekend at the GSMTS.  Pictures have been posted in the Galleries section.  The newest galleries are now listed from most current to the oldest.  Also, we've made updates to the calendar.

July 23, 2003
While not apparent to visitors, we've recently completed moving our site to a new web host, which offers more space and more features. We'll soon be taking advantage of this change with a newly coded web site. The appearance of the site will remain similar, with most of the changes happening behind the scenes. The idea is to make updating the site much easier, so that it gets done in a timely manner.

Also, we've made updates to the calendar. Be sure to look for us at the Great Scale Model Train Show in Timonium, Maryland. We're planning to put on our biggest display ever!

January 14, 2003
Ken Braden, who has been with club for a year now, sat down and mastered the Trellix software to create his own personal web site (while earning a living, supporting his family, and working on his modules!).  Click here to go directly to Ken's personal web site.  It is very entertaining.  Way to go Ken!

January 5, 2003
The new slideshow is up and running. Not quite the way I had wanted, but I'll get that nailed down eventually. Works well enough for now. Enjoy!

January 4, 2003
We're finally getting around to fixing up a bunch of stuff here. New is the menu system - the frames are real, now, so they don't reload the entire site when you select a menu choice. Speaking of the menu, it uses something called "Flash Text." If you see little grey (or gray) squares where the menu used to be, you need to download the Flash player plug-in from Macromedia. So, what was the impetus for finally getting on the stick here? We've been named an NMRA Webmaster's Choice! Over the next few weeks, look forward to a lot of changes (hopefully for the better) here on the site.

For those who enjoyed the opening slide show, don't despair. We're working on a new-and-improved version! Look for it soon!

August 7, 2002
Updated Calendar. There's a lot of behind-the-scenes work happening on the web site, and we'll be rolling out a largely re-written web site in the near future. While there won't be a large difference in the appearance of most of the site, the operation of the site will be much smoother and more efficient. Also, the photo galleries will be completely re-designed to be easier to navigate. Keep your eyes on the site for updates.

June 25, 2002
Updated Calendar and added pictures from the June, 2002 Great Scale Model Train Show display.

May 28, 2002
Thanks to Bill digging up the files, we now have a few pictures from the club's visit to Bill Brooks' layout.

May 23, 2002
The site has been updated to include photos from the May business meeting, which included a discussion of custom painting techniques and a demonstration of the new NCE wireless control system. Also new is the much anticipated "group shot" of our club members.

The galleries have be improved with an updated navigation system that should be a little easier to understand. The confusing little arrows have be replaced with discriptive text, and hovering your mouse over the text for a few moments will display a pop-up indicating exactly what page you'll see if you click on the link.

April 8, 2002
The site has been updated to include some photos from our last meeting. We completely refreshed the scenery on Jim McLaughlin's module. We also welcomed two new members - Ralph Cappiello and Tony Dietz.
